"Reality, when it hits you, it doesn't hesitate to tap you softly against the chest. When it hits you, it's a full blow that makes you feel like you can't breathe anymore. "
I know we’re all hypocrites one way or another, but some people take it onto a whole new level. Some people are honestly just walking contradictions and attention whores. It bothers me when people are “strong believers” of something and are so adamant about it, yet once others are on a different spectrum of insight, their beliefs change and they go with what other people like. If you believe strongly in something, stand by it. Don’t just change your perspective because a majority of people think otherwise.
For example:
It’s such a piss off when someone posts a picture on Facebook, Tumblr, whatever, and the caption says “I’m ugly”. Then they continuously post self-portraits of themselves. Obviously you’re fishing for compliments and obviously you know you have some form of beauty. If you really hated your looks you wouldn’t be posting shit all.
When girls nag on other girls for wearing makeup. Okay, so some girls drop a line or two about other females if they literally cake their faces, that’s acceptable. But if a girl is wearing minimal amounts of makeup and you make a comment about how she shouldn’t wear it because an all natural look is better, YET you wear makeup yourself.. Girl honestly, shut up. Your face isn’t natural at all and people can see your makeup from a mile away, don’t try and hide it.
When someone complains about people who bother them yet they continue putting on some dumb facade like everything is okay between them. Honestly? Really, just distance yourself from the person and it would just save a lot of trouble and a lot of unnecessary effort to hold up a fake conversation with them. If they annoy you, creep you out, stop talking to them. It’s your fault if you complain about them annoying you yet you continue to talk to them. And it baffles me even more when they initiate the conversation first.
Honestly, put up or shut up. If you can’t stick to one thing and constantly change opinions depending on society’s favour, you’re just dumb. You stick to what the crowd favours but behind closed doors it’s a different story. It’s really tiring to watch when you know both sides of the story.
