2011 Memories 

Haven’t posted in time! It’s been a hectic month with finals and also winter break at my uncle’s here in Florida. I’m waiting on the food to cook so I can finally feast with the fam, so I thought I’d make a list of my 2011 highlights. This year definitely was a blur. It went by hella fast but it was a good one none the less.

Sledding with the Fam Jam, Hannah’s 18th birthday/debut, Reuniting with m KFAM after a long ass time, Variety night performing (singing and rapping) live for the very first time in my life, last few months of high school with my bests, late night with my girls at Calories, going to “Fruit Loop” with Hannah and Ashley, Work shop with Ate Faye, Making KFAM shirts/sweaters with my lovely KFAM, going to Pike Lake with my famjam, Awards day and winning a Social Justice award and being on the Principal’s honour roll for the 4th year in a row, Night out with my KFAM at the wok/riverlanding/coldstone’s, Kalayaan 2011, English classes with Sarah and Ali, Art classes with Kate and Ali, First period spares with amazing people, French class, Giving an important relationship a second shot, Retreat Day, CPR class with my bestie, Grad day winning 2 special awards and getting recognized for distinction, Grad night with my Famjam in a limo and having a great grad partner, After grad, sleepover at Hannah’s, Winnipeg for my Tita Lyn and Tito Jovel’s wedding, Meeting the new Toronto exchange folk for a week of great hangouts (Supper at Kate’s, Black ops with Gee and Justin, Berry Barn, Workshops, Jan’s farm, Mary’s house, Talks with Ate Nikki and the KFAM, New Island, Moxies hitting it off with Justin.. lol, Fundraiser, Late night’s at Kate’s getting scared and shit, Dropping off FFC at the airport, giving Justin my hat and him giving me his keyblade), SKYPE nights with Justin til the early morning.., messing up my sleeping schedule, going to Toronto (Supper at Tita Dolores, Meeting up with Justin Andora at Square one, shopping at Square one and Eaton Centre, Wonderland with KFC, The feeling of seeing Justin again.. haaaa, Niagara Falls, buying candy, Screamers, WEDNESDAY AYE, Going to Gee’s school to record, Workshops, Getting surprised at Pacific Mall by Justin.., the walk to Justin Andora’s house, Drawing on Jay’s arms, The goodbye at the airport..), Folkfest 2011, Trip to Regina with Kevin/Kate and Cheene, Moving on and letting go of certain relationships, Starting College, Bonding with my aunts and Ninongs especially, September 18 2011, Kate’s debut, KFAM hangouts and foodtrips and jam sessions at Nikka’s place, Halloween, Christmas break at Florida (Sea World, Getting splashed by Shamu, Feeding stingrays and Dolphins, Visiting Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal Studios, Disney World and such).

Those are some of the things I came up with, and there are so many more memories I didn’t mention. I just want to thank everyone who’s been a part of this year. You make all the rough times easier especially my FamJam and my KFam. Love you guys to death, cheers to a new year. I know 2012 is a year of change for me, especially with everything happening within my family but I’m so thankful I’m surrounded with caring friends and fam. I’m blessed and that’s an understatement. This year I hope to strengthen my faith because honestly mine has weakened extremely. Well, let’s see where this year takes me.
